Mushroom harvesting tour at Katisa bålplass at Nøklevann
The Japan-Norway Society will host this year's mushroom harvesting tour again in collaboration with the Mushroom and Useful Plants' Society of Norway (Norges sopp- og nyttevekstforbund) on Saturday, 5 Sept 2026.
The mushroom expert Mr. Pål Karlsen, Manager of the Mushroom Society of Norway, will take us for a guided tour at Katisa bålplass at Nøklevann. After the harvest we will savor the mushroom soup to be prepared by the representatives from the Mushroom Society.
We will meet at Rustadsaga parkering at 10:30am which is about 10 minutes walk from Bogerud T-bane station (line 3 towards Mortensrud). From there we will walk together about 2 km to Katisa bålplass by Nøklevann where we start with a small demonstration and lecture by Mr. Pål Karlsen, the authorized mushroom expert from the Mushroom Society.
You are welcome to bring your own Onigiri or other finger foods to complement the mushroom soup which will be prepared with our harvest on the day. We will provide soup and some crackers after the harvesting tour.
