The Japan-Norway Society is honored to host this year's mushroom harvesting tour once again in collaboration with the Mushroom and Useful Plants' Society of Norway. (Norges sopp- og nyttevekstforbund--Mushroom Society, in short, for our convenience.)
A guided tour will be conducted by a mushroom expert Mr. Pål Karlsen, Manager of the Mushroom Society of Norway.
We will savor the mushroom soup to be prepared on the shore after the harvest which will be organized by the representatives from the Mushroom Society.

Time: 11:00-14:00 or later
Meeting point: Paradisbukta
Paradisbukta is about 10 minutes by walking from the parking area (Huk bus stop) of Bygdøy where we start with a small demonstration and lecture by an authorized mushroom expert from the Mushroom Society.
We will provide the soup and some crackers after the harvesting tour.
You are welcome to bring your own Onigiri or other finger foods to complement the mushroom soup which will be prepared with our harvest on the day.
Please bring with you:
1. A pocket knife, possibly with a brush,
2. Paper bags,
3. Basket, containers
4. Insect repellent for your protection,
5. Onigiri or other finger foods (if you wish) to complement the mushroom soup to be prepared at the shore after the harvest and water or other beverages to stay hydrated, and
6. Print out of the mushroom guide which will also become handy in identifying the mushrooms in the field. (The brochure has been attached to the invitation sent by e-mail.)

Non members: 150 Kr
Non members' family under 18: 50 Kr
