Dear Friends and Members 

We are very sorry to inform you that due to the developing corona-situation we have come to the conclusion that we must postpone the Japan Norway Society Annual General Meeting planned for next week.

This decision has been taken after discussions with the Embassy of Japan and some of our long-standing corporate members, and is based on the increasing spread of COVID-19 in Norway.

We will assess the situation going forward, and consider whether it will be possible arrange the meeting in the close future. Alternatively, we consider the possibility for a digital AGM. We therefore encourage everybody who have proposals or issues they would like to raise at the meeting to send this in writing by the 20th of March, so it may be included in the information we will distribute online.

We are very sorry that it will not be possible to go through with this highlight of the year as planned, and ask for your kind understanding and continued support.
