T-Ceremony (6 Seats for Members only)

A Japanese Tea Ceremony infused with blends of cultures and traditions.
The Japan-Norway Society and Norwegian Rain/ T-Michael will co-host “T-Ceremony” at Norwegian Rain/ T- Michael store in Oslo on the 15th of February 2020.

We will like to cordially invite you to an evening of 2 simultaneous tea ceremonies.
The traditional and a progressive version.
The progressive version mirroring the meeting point between cultures and perceptions.

All of you will be invited to this special event, it’s free entry to watch “T-ceremony”. During the tea ceremony a host and guests communicate without words, this can lead you to experience a meditative atmosphere.

6 persons, members of Japan Norway Society and Norwegian Rain/ T-Michael, will be invited to partake in each of the versions, which will be arranged simultaneously. The event will be open to our customers, friends and family to observe and also to indulge in Nihoncha.

Spill the Tea, will serve a cup of Nihoncha to all guests.

The 12 participants will be served a cup of Matcha tea and Japanese sweets “Jyounamagashi” (Japanese traditional ‘petit four’) provided by Rose Production.

This will be an “ichi go ichi e”, a once in a life time adventure never to be repeated in Japanese Tea Ceremony.
Seize this opportunity and transform this into a stat of a beautiful tsunagari.
