  • Gressholmen Kro Oslo Norway (map)

We are pleased to welcome two of leading artists on Hardingfele: Mr. Keisuke Hara who is a restoration artist of the instrument rarely found in the world and Ms. Emy Sakai, Japan’s leading Hardingfele artist. They will return to Norway by invitation of Norwegian master Mr. Hans Jørgen and will enchant us with the history of the instrument which is deeply routed in Norwegian lifestyle in the “fjellene” and its restoration technique followed by beautiful tune of the instrument in a rustic backdrop of Gressholmen Kro.

The event will be open to public once we send out our invitation therefore we kindly ask you to register at your earliest convenience as the space is limited. Please join us for this rare and privileged occasion which also bridges both countries through music.

Presentation will be done in Japanese with English interpretation.

The kitchen of Gressholmen Kro is open until 20:00 but guests are kindly advised to purchase food and drinks before the event. Please also check latest ferry timetable with Ruter.no.

It is a very relaxing venue and we would like you to make this a nice summer afternoon out in the Oslo fjords.
